If you are a fan of of Mat Men or Behind the Counter you would know that Jonathan's father, Larry Adler was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer due to medical negligence. We just got word that Larry passed away this evening.
He and his family had been fighting this horrible disease for the past few months. Larry was one of the most caring, and big hearted person that many of us had the pleasure of meeting. Please help to support his family through this extremely difficult time in their lives. Larry always put others before himself as a first responder during 911, a corrections officer, member of numerous community organizations a husband, father, and a Vietnam veteran.
We spoke to his family this evening and were informed that his cancer was directly connected to him being a first responder during 9/11
